Glossybox September – UNBOXING

Hello babs! This morning my September Glossybox came in the post and I knew I had to do an unboxing of it, woohoo!

Incase you didn’t know what it is, Glossybox is a monthly subscription box where you will get 5 hair, makeup or beauty products for £10 a month (BARGAIN) – some of them being full size too! This is my 5th box from them and to be honest I was a little underwhelmed by this one as I prefer more makeup items to skincare… (thats just my personal preference though) Shall we see what goodies I got for this month then?

Side note: It did come with a Kinder Bueno in the box too but I already ate it haha! Thanks for the little treat Glossybox 🙂

1. Stylondon: Siligel Blender – Clear (Full size – £5.99)
Glossybox states
“You’ve probably seen it on Youtube, now try it yourself. The Siligel Blender promises to be more hygienic than other blenders and requires you to use less foundation as it doesn’t absorb as much as sponges and brushes. Use it to spread cream or liquid foundation over skin (you will need half the usual amount), creating an even base by tapping, rolling and pressing the foundation into the skin. All done? Clean the blender with soap and warm water then dry away from direct sunlight.”

2. Pixi By Petra: Brow Tamer (Full size – £12)
Glossybox states
“This brow beautifier sets and holds unruly brows in place all day. Fill in any gaps with a brow pencil then brush the long wearing clear gel through your brows in upward and outward strokes to define and shape in an instant.”

3. Monu Skincare: MONU Firming Fiji Facial Oil (Not full size – *Full size retails for £26*)
Glossybox states
“Facial oils are your skin’s best friend. This contains plant oils to nourish and protect and a refreshing blend of Bois de Rose and Patchouli essential oils to calm, firm and leave skin visibly brighter. Apply both morning and night on dry skin or use it as an intensive treatment to replace your usual night cream as the season changes. Follow your cleansing routine with 1 to 2 drops massaged into skin using gentle upward movements.”

4. Cetaphil: Cetaphil Mini Skincare Trio (Not full size – *Full size retails for Gentle Skin Cleanser – £14.99, Moisturising Cream – £8.99 and Moisturising Lotion – £14.99*)
Glossybox states
“As a cleanser, Cetaphil has long been used backstage in the fashion circuit to remove models’ makeup while caring for sensitive skin. This mini skincare trio is the ultimate skincare kit and includes the brand’s iconic cleanser as well as it’s Moisturising Cream for the face and Moisturising Lotion for the body.”

5. Jeanne Arthes: L’Eau de Rose (Full size – £20)
Glossybox states
“As elegant as it is sensual, this delicate fragrance is a wonderfully modern reinvention of rose. Jeanne Arthes works closely with local master perfumers from Grasse, the center of the perfume world, to give this scent a classy French twist.”

I’m very excited to try out the Brow Tamer from Pixi as I have been wanting to try out their products for soooo long! Not sure how I feel about the Siligel Blender though as I have already tried out a silicone sponge before and we didn’t hit it off well… may have to give it one more try with this one though… I love the fact we have a full size perfume in this box though as I do like testing out new scents.

Hope you’ve enjoyed this little unboxing anyway… if you’re interested in subscribing to this box then click here… in my opinion it is so worth it for the money!

Thanks for reading!

See you in my next post…
