Hello babs! This post is an exciting one as one of my favourite Youtubers has teamed up with one of my favourite brands to create an eyeshadow palette… when I saw the announcement video from Sophdoesnails I nearly died!!!! Not only has she come out with her own eyeshadow palette but she has also got her own highlighting palette too but that will be showcased in another post very soon… I picked up both items off Tambeauty the day they were released. The eyeshadow palette was £10 and the highlighting palette was £8. Lets just dive right in because I’m so excited guys!
The eyeshadow palette came in a cardboard box that has a watercolour effect on it (Soph actually designed the watercolour for the box) and it has ‘Soph x’ in shiny rose gold lettering. The eyeshadow palette itself is a matte light pink/cream plastic with Sophie’s name again in shiny rose gold lettering and it also has a secure click-shut mechanism. Unlike the box, the name of the brand is also in rose gold lettering whereas on the box it is in black. It also states that it comes with 24 eyeshadows in it. Inside the palette it comes with a good size and good quality mirror and has a plastic removable sheet that has all of the shade names on it.
The packaging itself is to die for although it will get dirty easily because of the colour and material. Anyway, when I opened the palette the first thing I noticed was the great amount of colour variety that it has so if you want a palette you can take on the go with a lot of different shades then this would be great. The shade names was another thing that I love about this palette as they are so so so cute but I love how Sophie got to name them all herself (very personal). One thing I did notice is that this palette doesn’t come with any form of brush in it which I kind of like, because instead of them throwing in a pointless dual ended sponge applicator because they can’t put a decent brush in, they just left one out completely.
Side note: I have dipped in twice to do my swatches like I always do to get a good opinion on the shadows pigmentation with build 🙂

Big well done to Sophdoesnails for this palette!!! I think its incredible and for the price with the amount of shades you get is a bargain. The shimmer shades have AMAZING pigmentation and although the mattes aren’t as good I still think they are really decent to work with. They blend well and are very creamy in formula. The colour selection is amazing… if I was going away somewhere then this would be the palette I take as you have got a colour for everything especially a white and a black like YES. If you’re someone who loves Sophdoesnails or Makeup Revolution then I highly suggest picking this palette up. I love it and I’m not just saying that because she’s one of my favourite Youtubers, I genuinely think she’s done a great job!
Thanks for reading!
See you in my next post…
