Glossybox October – UNBOXING

Hello babs! A couple of days ago my Glossybox came in the post and I have been so excited to find out if I’d be receiving the Mermaid or the Unicorn box… I didn’t really mind whichever one but I ended up with the Unicorn one🦄

Incase you didn’t know what it is, Glossybox is a monthly subscription box where you will get 5 hair, makeup or beauty products for £10 a month (BARGAIN) – some of them being full size too! This is my 6th box I have gotten and I would say it’s one of my favourites due to the fact that it has all makeup items in it apart from 1 which is a brush cleaner (spoiler) Lets see what I got this month then…

Side note: It does come with a pink shiny sticker which says “HALF UNICORN” on it with the Glossybox logo.

1. Makeup Revolution: Mermaids vs Unicorns Eyeshadow Palette (Full size – £4)
Glossybox states
“Whether you’re channeling an other-worldly look inspired by unicorns or mermaids or merely want a subtle flash of uplifting colour, unleash your creative side with these twelve dreamy shades, from whimsically adventurous to subtly charming. Add a dash of colour along the lash line, wear it over the lid or use the darker shades to add a smoky contrast to a smudgy eye.”

2. Sleek Makeup: Crème to Powder Blush – Carnation (Full size – £5.99)
Glossybox states
” An uplifting shade of blush always has the ability to put a smile on our faces. This innovative cream-to-powder blush is intensely pigmented (a little goes a long way) but has a natural, dewy finish and each Glossy will get one of six flattering hues. Apply to cheeks and as you blend it will magically transform into a light powder, giving cheeks a pretty pop of colour that lasts all day.”

3. Kawaii Enterprise: Brush Cleansing Egg (Full size – £7.99)
Glossybox states
“Call us obsessive, but clean brushes are what dreams are made of! This silicone brush cleansing egg makes it easier than ever. Pop your two fingers inside the egg, wet your brush and add a dash of gentle liquid soap. Swirl your brush over the small nodules at the top to create a lather and then remove the foam (and product build-up) by running the bristles down the deeper grooves, which will also realign the brush hairs without damaging them.”

4. Lord&Berry: MAGIC BROW Perfect Eye Brow Pencil – Brunette (Full size – £14)
Glossybox states
“It doesn’t matter whether your makeup is bright and bold, muted or classic, brows hold a look together. This highly pigmented brow pencil has a marbleised tip swirled with two complimentary shades, so it flatters all colourings by mimicking the colour variation naturally found in brows. Shape brows then blend.”

5. Bang Beauty: Cream colour – Dolce Pink (Full size – £19.50)
Glossybox states
“This multi-purpose cream can be used on your lips, cheeks and eyes, making for the perfect eyeshadow, blush or highlighter. Apply using the tips of your fingers or a brush, blending for a smooth, natural finish. To use it is to love it – plus it’s vegan and cruelty-free.”

I was so happy when I saw there was a brush cleaner because I had literally said to my sister the other day that I had lost mine which was identical to the one in the box so YAAAAY. I also looooove Makeup Revolution so when I saw the eyeshadow palette from them I got so excited!!! Can’t wait to try out all of the other products especially the ones from 2 of brands that I’ve never tried from…

Hope you’ve enjoyed this little unboxing and if you’re interested in subscribing to this box then click here 🙂

Thanks for reading!

See you in my next post…
