Glossybox December – UNBOXING

Hello babs! Just got home from work to find that my Glossybox was here so heres an unboxing of December’s. The box for this month was designed by an Irish lifestyle brand called Dusty Boy and on the front it says “Mince Pies, Starry Skies” which I think is so cute!

Incase you didn’t know what it is, Glossybox is a monthly subscription box where you will get 5 hair, makeup or beauty products for £10 a month (BARGAIN) – some of them being full size too! This is my 8th box and after last months underwhelming box I was hoping for a better one this month… and I can confirm that in my personal opinion this is slightly better 🙂

Side note: Glossybox did put a little treat in for us this month… some Ferrero Raffaello but I will be giving them to my Dad as I am not a fan of coconut or almond. Thanks though Glossybox! 🙂

1. Naobay: Equilibria Gel to Milk Cleanser (Full size – £15.99)
Glossybox states
“Wash away the day in the most opulent way. This golden gel transforms into a softening cleansing milk on contact with water. With organic olive and sweet almond oils, skin is left hydrated not tight. Massage the gel over your face and neck, ensuring you pay extra attention to the oilier T-Zone where we tend to apply more makeup. Add warm water, massage some more until the gel has turned into a milky texture, and then splash it off along with any remains of the day.”

2. Laqa & Co: Cloud Lips – Daydream (Full size – £12.70)
Glossybox states
“Encased in this rose-gold delight is one of the best matte lipsticks we’ve tried recently. The high-impact pigment feels as light as a cloud but stays put until the end of the party.”

3. Kryolan: Eye Shadow Primer (Full size – £18.30)
Glossybox states
“This lid smoothing primer grabs eyeshadow so it lasts all day without creasing. Apply a small dot onto lids and gently blend it using your ring finger and a very light touch.”

4. Steve Laurant: Precision Tip Eyeliner (Full size – £18)
Glossybox states
“We’ll never get tired of a feline flick, but leave soot to Father Christmas! It’s easy to create precise, intense black lines with this super fine liquid liner. The felt tip applicator has a thin nib that makes for easy application and the long lasting formula is smudge and water proof.”

5. Lypsyl: Lypsyl Mirror Compact – Fresh Orange Blossom (Full size – £4.99)
Glossybox states
“We’ve decided that this would be the perfect stocking filler if we weren’t so desperate to keep it ourselves! Available in four scents, this nourishing SPF15 lip balm is packed with moisturising shea butter, velvety cocoa butter and aloe vera to help repair chapped lips and protect them as the cold weather sets in.”

I still wouldn’t say this is the best box that I have gotten from Glossybox box but it is slightly better than last months. I am really looking forward to trying out the lipstick because the colour is nude, it’s a brand I’ve never heard of and it is in rose gold packaging so can’t complain. I know I won’t be using the liquid eyeliner because my eye shape does not suit it at all but I’m slightly gutted because again it’s in rose gold packaging! Soooo excited to try out the eye primer because I have been meaning to pick one up for ages and it’s another brand I’ve never heard of but again I’m disappointed to see yet another lip balm… feel like the last few months every box has come with one (I know you can’t have too many lip balms but it’s getting so repetitive now Glossybox). Overall, it was a better box than last month but still nothing too exciting.

Hope you’ve enjoyed this little unboxing and if you’re interested in subscribing to Glossybox then click here 🙂 (it is my referral code btw which you don’t have to use if you don’t want to)

Thanks for reading!

See you in my next post…
