Makeup Revolution: Vivid Baked Highlighter in “Peach Lights”✨ | REVIEW

Hello babs! Today I’ll be reviewing the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in the shade Peach Lights which I kindly received for Christmas from my best friend Sian. You can get this highlighter for £3 from Superdrug and TAM Beauty (for the pan size I definitely think that’s a good price).

Side note: You get 7.5g/0.262oz of product in this.

Snapchat-1714300576.jpgThe highlighter comes in a plastic circle packaging which has a see-through lid and a black back. The name of the brand and product is in rose gold lettering on the see-through lid. The lid flips open and I’m not sure if it’s just mine but mine doesn’t have a click shut or magnetic shutting mechanism so it doesn’t shut properly at all and isn’t very secure (that’s not good if it is in a makeup bag as it can easily come open and potentially break). The highlighter has a swirled effect embedded into it as well.

The highlighter!!!!!

Side note: I have dipped in twice for these swatches as I always do because I like to see how the pigmentation builds 🙂

(Without and with flash)

I would say the highlighter has a slight peach tint (like the name suggests) to it but it is more of an icy pink highlighter. I wouldn’t say it’s a blinding highlighter if you only swipe it once on the face but it is definitely buildable when layered. The formulation of this highlighter is creamy and it does apply smooth, it is not chunky or glittery on the face which I like.

Final thoughts…

I do really like this highlighter, although it’s not the typical shade I usually go for I can definitely make it work. As far as peach highlighters go I wouldn’t say it is the peachiest as Jeffree Star’s Peach Goddess is definitely peachier (how many times did I just include the word peach in that sentence😂) This is more of a pink highlighter and it is definitely good for the price with the amount of product you actually get in it. This is a highlighter that is good for both people who like subtle or blinding highlights as it can be built up to get the desired pigmentation you want and is not blinding in your face with one swipe. Personally I prefer more blinding highlights straight away but it doesn’t bother me that I will have to build it up. Definitely recommend trying out the Vivid Baked Highlighters but if this shade isn’t your preference then there are definitely others to check out 🙂

Thanks for reading!

See you in my next post…
