Hello babs! I am going to be unboxing my Glossybox today and from a couple of sneak peeks I have seen… I am very excited about 3 of the products in here… We got 6 products in the box this month (we usually only get 5 so I love when they chuck in something extra).
Incase you didn’t know what it is, Glossybox is a monthly subscription box where you will get 5 hair, makeup or beauty products for £10 a month (BARGAIN) – some of them being full size too!
1. Huda Beauty: Liquid Matte Lipstick – Venus (Full size – £18)
Glossybox states “We are obsessed with this sultry shade from top beauty expert Huda Kattan. Her vegan friendly and cruelty-free Liquid Matte Lipstick is one of a kind, comfortable to wear and is infused with antioxidants and an exclusive complex to help maintain hydration. The lightweight, long-wearing formula glides on and the colour intensifies as it sets to a matte, transfer-free finish. You might even forget you’re wearing anything on your lips at all!”
*Super super excited to receive this in the box as I have never tried out Huda Beauty products so having a liquid lipstick is great and this shade is right up my street! Such a pretty nude shade which I am dead excited to get my wear out of this autumn/winter.
2. Context: Micro-Derm Regenerator (Not full size – *Full size retails for £26.70, Deluxe Mini size retails for £6.50)
Glossybox states “We love this cute two-in-one cleanser with a difference. Using professional microdermabrasion crystals, it gently exfoliates, polishes and purifies. Powerful antioxidants also protect cells and fight free radical damage to leave your skin feeling soft and hydrated. It’s cruelty and fragrance free too!”
*I’m not really a skincare type of person (I really should be as I suffer with dry skin but I just find it a pain to do) so this product isn’t the most exciting to me but hopefully I’ll get round to trying it out haha.
3. Stylondon: Eaton Eyeshadow Palette (Full size – £9.99)
Glossybox states “This pocket-sized, cruelty-free palette has endless possibilities for going out on the town or warming up your daytime look this season. From daytime neutrals to autumnal bronze hues, both matte and pearlescent, this is the only palette you need.”
*Now this is what I’m talking about… the shades in this palette are stunning and definitely right up my street, I love me some warm tones! Very excited to try this out and love that it’s quite small as well so doesn’t take up too much room.
4. Nexxus: Nutritive Encapsulate Serum (Not full size – *Full size retails for £24.99, Deluxe Mini size retails for £6.25)
Glossybox states “Haircare brand Nexxus was born in a New York salon and perfected by science! This lightweight serum is enriched with protein and can be used on wet and dry hair to add shine, reduce frizz and prevent flyaway! For a good hair day, apply a few drops and work it through your hair.”
*Again, don’t really know much about haircare either so this product doesn’t excite me really but I will try and give it a go…
5. Yourgoodskin: Balancing Skin Concentrate (Not full size – *Full size retails for ??, Deluxe Mini retails for £5.83)
Glossybox states “Clinically proven and developed by dermatologists, the Balancing Skin Concentrate has a unique complex of Green Tea and Vitamin C to help improve skin texture, moisture, radiance, oiliness and skin-tone evenness in just 28 days. From day one, 95% of women had smoother skin and by day 28, 90% noticed visibly healthier skin – what more could a girl want?”
*This is another skincare product so nothing too exciting for me but I will try and give it a go…
6. Chloé: Eau De Parfum (Not full size – *Unsure of prices for full and sample)
Glossybox states “A fresh and feminine fragrance of classic rose, sensual and chic.
*I love me a perfume so I am very excited we got a sample size of this because I have never tried it out before.
Overall I am quite pleased with the box, however I would have maybe liked a few more makeup products in there as I’m not really a skin or haircare of girl… the makeup items I got however I am very very excited to use!
Hope you’ve enjoyed this little unboxing and if you’re interested in subscribing to this box then click here 🙂 (it is my referral code btw which you don’t have to use if you don’t want to)
