Hello babs! I thought I’d do a primer review today as I haven’t done one in the longest time and the one I’ll be talking about today is the Priming Moisturizer from Glossier. I picked this up to try because I was in need of a good moisturising/hydrating primer for my face as I suffer with dry skin… after doing some digging online and on youtube this was coming up in a lot of recommendations so I ordered mine on the Glossier website. I will say that this primer cost me £18 which to me is a little pricey for a primer but it did actually end up working great for me so I am glad I spent the money!
This comes with 50ml/1.7 fl oz of product.

I really love the look of this packaging as it looks quite simple but I love the white and pink contrast it has going on (half is white and half is a baby/pastel pink colour). It is a squeezy plastic tube which has a screw on lid. The name of the brand, product and product information is in black lettering.
Just from reading about the product it seems like a 2-in-1 sort of thing because its like a moisturiser cream but also acts as a primer for makeup so I definitely think you can use this for one or the other or both!! This product doesn’t have a scent to it which is good for those of you out there who may be sensitive to scented products. When I first squeezed some of the product out I noticed that it almost looks white and has quite a creamy consistency… not too thick but not too thin. However, when I blended it out on my skin the whiteness went away and it settled lovely into my skin. It definitely felt very hydrating on the skin but also had a slight tackiness to it whilst it was drying down, so if you’re someone who applies their foundation quickly then this gives a nice tacky base to work with. However, if you’re someone who waits for the product to fully settle into the skin then this will no longer be tacky. You don’t need to use much product either as a little goes quite a way. I do feel like my foundation went on well over this product and would definitely say this is for people with dry skin.
This is honestly my go-to primer at the moment because I just love how it makes my skin feel. I’d definitely recommend this for my dry skin people out there but even if you have combination or oily skin you could definitely use this as a moisturiser in your skincare routine or even as a primer if you wanted to… it’s completely your preference. I was a little sceptical about the price to begin with as I’ve never spent that amount on a primer before but I definitely think it is worth the money and if you’re on the look for a good moisturising/hydrating primer then this is the one to try!!!
Thanks for reading!
