RUDOLPH Inspired Eye LookšŸ¦ŒšŸ”“

Hello babs! I thought I’d do a different post today as I had the idea to try and create a Christmas themed eye look… I ended up having the idea to do a Rudolph inspired look. I’m not usually one to upload my makeup/eye looks because in all honesty, I don’t think they’re really that good to be honest… However as it’s nearly Christmas I thought I’d bite the bullet and show you guys what I came up with. I am not a makeup artist and don’t consider myself to be that good with eyeshadow so please just keep that in mind. If you want to see what I came up with then be sure to keep on reading!

So this is the look that I ended up rolling with, it turned out alright but theres definitely lots of areas to improve on. (This is also the first time I’ve really worn eyeliner so please don’t judge the terrible application)

–Ā NYX Tame & Frame Tinted Brow PomadeĀ inĀ Brunette

Eye Products

–Ā Primark My Perfect Colour Liquid ConcealerĀ inĀ Porcelain
– I Heart RevolutionĀ Peanut Butter CupĀ Chocolate Palette
–Ā RevolutionĀ Mischief MattesĀ Palette
–Ā NYX Tame & Frame Tinted BrowĀ PomadeĀ inĀ Brunette
–Ā Revolution Renaissance Flick Eyeliner
–Ā LDanier False Lashes
– Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
–Ā AnastasiaĀ Beverly Hills x Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit

1. I set the concealer on my lid with my normal face powder so that the shades could blend easily over the top.
2. I then used the shadeĀ SmoothĀ (IHR Peanut Butter Cup Palette) as my transition shade in the crease.
3. As that shade was a little too orange and I wanted something a little more brown, I used the shadeĀ Milk ChocolateĀ (IHR Peanut Butter Cup Palette) and ran this just over that transition shade.
4. Once happy with the colour I wanted, I then cut my crease using some concealer. I cut my crease just above where my normal crease line is as I have hooded eyes.
5. I then set the concealer with the shadeĀ SaintĀ (R Mischief Mattes Palette) as I wanted the cut crease to stand out white.
6. I then went over the line where I had cut the crease with the brown brow pomade, this is supposed to represent an antler.
7. Then I applied some black eyeliner underneath the cut crease just to add a little something to the look.
8. Next I used the shadeĀ Half TimeĀ (R Mischief Mattes Palette) and put this on my inner corner to represent Rudolph’s nose.
9. To highlight my brow bone I used the shade 143 (ABH x NG) as this is a bronze like highlighter which ties in well with the browns.
10. On my inner corner I added a little of the shadeĀ Kitty KatĀ (ABH x NG) as this is a pink toned highlighter which adds a little something to the red.
11. To finish the look I applied some false lashes and mascara.

Well that concludes this blog post for today. I had lots of fun creating this eye look and am somewhat pleased with the outcome… there is definite room for improvement but hey ho. I hope you enjoyed, please let me know your thoughts šŸ™‚

Thanks for reading!

See you in my next post... - Jessica x
