Primark UNIVERSAL LIP LUMINZER Review💄 Fenty Beauty dupe??

Hello babs! I am going to be reviewing a lip product today because I think the last one I did was 14th January 2018 (omg its been a year today, I didn’t even realise until just, how cute, its a sign!) Anyway, today’s lip product review is going to be on the Primark Universal Lip Luminizer in the shade Game Changer. I actually got this for Christmas but I know it’s £3.50 in Primark stores.

From looking at the shade of this product, it almost looks like a dupe of the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb and actually, when I look online… the Gloss Bomb also has ‘Universal Lip Luminizer’ in the name so I’m going to say that in my opinion I think this is a dupe. I have always wanted to pick up the Fenty Beauty one but never have so I like the fact I now have a dupe for it for waaaay cheaper! The only thing that is different is the packaging.

The lip luminizer comes in a clear plastic glass-like bottle and it has a matte white plastic screw on lid (which is very secure, it clicks when it is fully shut). The name of product is in grey lettering on one side of the bottle which is slightly hard to see due to the colour of the lip luminizer behind it. It has a standard doe-foot applicator inside.

First impressions

Obviously as mentioned in the start of the post, I definitely think this is supposed to be a dupe for the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb which I noticed straight away. I really like the look of the packaging as it is nice and minimalistic and the shade is beautiful. There is a noticeable scent to begin with, I can’t quite describe what it smells like but it’s not a bad scent and does go away once applied to the lips. The applicator is quite small and doesn’t pick up a lot of product but I do like that sometimes as I can build it up to what I want.

When I first looked at the shade in the bottle, I thought it was going to be a bronzy sort of  shade but it actually comes out as quite a nice peachy shade. There are glitters running through it which don’t necessarily bother me but I will say that you can see the glitters on your lips but it’s nothing too major.

The lip luminizer has nice pigmentation, it has a smooth formula and doesn’t feel sticky on the lips which I like. You can definitely feel you are wearing it but it’s not that usual sticky feeling you get with some glosses. It does make your lips nice and glossy and it can be worn both on it’s own and over the top of another lip product!

(Without and with)

Final thoughts…

I actually really like this product and definitely think I will be getting lots of use out of it. I think it has a really good price also and if you are looking for a Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb dupe then this is it! I was sceptical that this was going to be sticky in formula due to a lot of glosses being sticky but I am pleasantly surprised that this feels lovely on the lips. Definitely recommend if you’re on the hunt for a new gloss, this may be my new fave for a while!!

Thanks for reading!
