NYX TAME & FRAME Tinted Brow Pomade Review

Hello babs! I’m going to be reviewing an eyebrow product today as it has been over a year since my last one… today I’ll be talking about the NYX Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade in the shade Brunette. I originally purchased this because I had a makeup artist do my makeup for my birthday and loooved how my brows turned out. I picked mine up from Boots for £7. It is also available on NYX Cosmetics, Superdrug, Debenhams and Cult Beauty for £6.50. (No idea why its 50p extra on Boots…)

This has 5g / 0.18oz of product in it.

Packaging

The product comes in a little square plastic container. The bottom has a frosted glass effect and it has a screw on and off black plastic lid. The name of the brand and product is in white lettering on the lid.

First impressions

The brow pomade doesn’t have a scent to it which is good for those of you who are sensitive to scented products. I like how cute and little the pot is for the pomade! The formula of the brow pomade is quite creamy and picks up easily onto a brush. It glides on easily over the brows and has decent pigmentation to it. You only need a little amount of this product because if you use too much it could look quite harsh on the brows. The product seems to last well on my brows also without using a brow gel to set it. I think the product works just that little bit better when it has been warmed up so I like to warm mine up on the back of my hand or on the inside of the lid (that is personal preference though) before applying it to my brows.

(Without and with)

Final thoughts…

This is my favourite brow product to use lately, I have been reaching for it every time I have done my makeup! I definitely think its worth it for the price as it works really well on the brows. If you like a brow pomade and don’t want too pay too much for one then I highly suggest giving this one a try!

Thanks for reading!
