Hello babs! I’m going to be reviewing a lip gloss today and it is another MAC product so I apologise if you’re not really a MAC fan (I am aware that MAC Cosmetics are not everyones cup of tea because they aren’t cruelty-free so if you’re not happy then feel free to click off this post😊). Anyhow, I’m going to be reviewing a Dazzleglass in the shade Prancin’ Dancin’. I originally picked this up in Cancun airport on the way back from my holiday in November so the price was in dollars which I can’t quite remember… However, you can get it on MAC Cosmetics, Selfridges, Debenhams and John Lewis for £15.50. Slightly pricey for a lipgloss but *spoiler alert* I love it!

The product comes in a glass bottle which has a black glass screw on lid. The name of the brand and product is in black lettering on the bottle. Attached to the inside of the lid it has a long brush applicator.

First impressions

When I was applying this to my lips for the first time I noticed a slight sweet scent to the product, its nothing too overpowering but bear that in mind if you are someone who may be sensitive to scented products. The scent does go away once on the lips. When I first looked at the shade I thought I would be a peachy nude glittery sort of shade but the colour is actually quite a sheer nude which I like. It’s not as glittery on the lips as it looks like it would be in the bottle. There is a slight glitteryness on the lips but nothing too crazy.

The brush applicator does pick up quite a bit of product and I like that it is a brush because it allows the application to be more flexible.

The formula of this product is quite creamy, it does look like its going to be very sticky on the lips but actually it’s not at all bad. You can definitely feel it on your lips but I wouldn’t say it’s sticky. The product has quite good pigmentation and it makes the lips look incredibly glossy and plump. I do feel like I have to reapply a few times throughout the day as it does start to come off but that happens with a lot of lip glosses. It can be worn on its own but in my opinion it looks the best applied over another lip product!

(Without and with)

Final thoughts…

This is my go-to gloss at the moment as I feel this is the best at making my lips look fuller, plumper and glossy. If you’re looking for a glossy gloss then I would definitely recommend this one, when I run out of this one I know I’ll be purchasing it again. Lovely nude shade to put over another nude lip product. Highly recommend!!

Thanks for reading!
