Hello babs! I’m going to be reviewing a highlighter I have had sitting untouched in collection for quite some time now. I’m going to be talking about the W7 Glowcomotion highlighter which is supposedly a dupe for the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer (I can’t say for definite as I don’t have it to compare but from what I’ve read and what I can tell from the swatch I would say it is quite similar to the original)… Now, I can’t quite remember where I got mine from as it has been a long time now but you can get it from the W7 website itself for £6.95.
This comes with 8.5g / 0.30oz of product in it.

The highlighter comes in a champagne gold shiny circular plastic packaging. The name of the brand and the product is in black lettering on the front of the packaging. The highlighter flips open and has a click shut mechanism. Inside you do get a good quality mirror which we all like in our products, don’t we?
TALC, MICA, MAGNESIUM STEARATE, DIMETHICONE, ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE, POLYISOBUTENE, SYNTHETIC WAX, PHENOXYETHANOL / ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM, TIN OXIDE, [+/- MAY CONTAIN: CI 77019 (MICA), CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE), CI 77492 (IRON OXIDE YELLOW), CI 77491 (IRON OXIDE RED), CI 77499 (IRON OXIDE BLACK)].
This is champagne highlighter. It doesn’t have a noticeable scent which is good for those people who may be sensitive to scented products. The formula of this highlighter is very soft is quite blinding. The highlighter does emphasise the texture on my cheeks slightly but nothing too major. It blends out well on the skin and you don’t need much of this product because it is quite intense.
I do really like this highlighter and although I think deep down I still want to purchase Mary-Lou Manizer I think this one will keep me sweet until I ever decide to purchase it. I definitely think its good for the price and this will last you quite a while as you don’t need to use a lot of product. If you’re someone who’s into a more subtle highlighter then I’d probably say to give this one a miss, however, if you’re into your blinding highlighters then I definitely suggest picking this one up to try. If you want it a little less intense then I’d probably say to use a lighter hand but if not then you can go ham with this. Definitely will be one of my go-tos, I love a champagne blinding highlighter!
